Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Thrumjoy (thrumjoy.com) handles information, what our hosting and content-delivery provider may collect on our behalf, and what rights you have under Australian privacy law. It applies to this website only.
1. Who operates this site
Thrumjoy is operated by an individual, not a company: Riley Evans, 225 Morrison Rd, Putney NSW 2112, Australia. You can reach the operator by email at the address below, or by post at the address above.
Email: [email protected] · Phone: +61 2 8095 8904
2. What this site does not collect
Thrumjoy has no account system, no sign-up form, no comment section, no newsletter subscription, and no contact form. There is nothing on this site that asks you to type in personal information, and nothing here stores a profile about you.
3. Information collected automatically by our hosting and CDN provider
This site is served through Cloudflare, our content-delivery network and security provider. Like almost any website on the internet, Cloudflare's edge network automatically processes standard request-level technical information for every visit — things such as your IP address (used to derive an approximate country/region and then typically discarded, not stored against a profile), browser and device type, referring page, and the pages requested — for the purposes of routing traffic, preventing abuse, and keeping the site available.
If Cloudflare's Web Analytics feature is active on this domain, it may also load a small measurement script that reports basic performance metrics (such as Core Web Vitals) back to Cloudflare without using cookies and without building an advertising profile. We do not run any analytics, tracking pixel, or advertising script of our own — the only third party involved in delivering this site is Cloudflare, acting as our infrastructure provider.
4. Cookies and browser storage
Thrumjoy does not set its own cookies. The one thing this site stores in your browser is a single entry in localStorage, written only after you interact with the cookie notice banner, to remember that you have seen it and what you chose. That entry never leaves your device and is never read by us — it exists purely so the notice does not reappear on every page. See our Cookie & Storage Disclosure for the exact key and its purpose.
Cloudflare may, separately from anything this site sets, use a small number of strictly necessary cookies of its own if its security features (such as distinguishing a legitimate visitor from automated traffic) are triggered. These are set and controlled by Cloudflare, not by us.
5. How information is used
Any technical data described above is used solely to deliver web pages reliably and securely. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with data brokers or marketing platforms, because we do not collect anything of that kind in the first place.
6. Disclosure to third parties
The only third party involved in operating this site is Cloudflare, Inc., acting as our content-delivery and security provider. We do not disclose any information to advertisers, analytics companies, or data brokers, because none are integrated into this site.
7. Overseas data flows
Cloudflare operates a global network, which means technical request data described in section 3 may be processed on infrastructure located outside Australia as part of routing your request to this site. Cloudflare publishes its own privacy and data-processing terms describing the safeguards that apply to this processing.
8. How long information is kept
We do not maintain our own server logs or database of visitor information. Any request-level technical data handled by Cloudflare on our behalf is retained only for the limited period needed for security and performance purposes, consistent with Cloudflare's own standard retention practices as our infrastructure provider.
9. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles
Because Thrumjoy does not collect or hold personal information about identifiable individuals beyond the limited, non-profiled technical data described above, there is typically nothing for us to provide access to or correct on request. If you believe we hold information about you and would like to ask about it, request its correction, or raise any other privacy concern, contact the operator using the details in section 1.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): GPO Box 5218, Sydney NSW 2001, Australia — oaic.gov.au.
10. Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age — see section 2.
11. Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS via Cloudflare's network. Because there is no form, login, or database collecting personal information on this site, the practical attack surface for a personal-data breach is minimal by design.
12. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated occasionally to reflect changes to the site or to our hosting arrangements. The date below always reflects the most recent version.
13. Effective date
